Proud Grandparents

We are officially grandparents. Kamery Jo was born on Dec. 11 weighing in at 5lb. 14 oz. I was able to go to Cassie and Mike's to help for the week. Kamery is a mild tempered child much like Cassie was as a baby. Cassie and Mike are very proud of her and will make wonderful parents.

It was good to talk to you guys on christmas it was fun hearing from you guys. im glad to hear everything is going good for ya. Its pretty funny we've been having a problem with our door the handle gets stuck so it won't close sometimes so my new companion didnt know that so yesterday when we left for church he just shut the door and we left for church. we were gone for about five hours and when we got back the door was opened about a foot or two and it was negative 35 or 40 yesterday so are apartment froze it was pretty funny we took some videos ill have to send to ya the apartment was below zero so we shut the door and then i turned on the oven to try to start heating it up then we called a member and he brought over a bunch of heaters and we started heating it up. we got pretty lucky none of the water pipes broke it was pretty funny the toilet water was frozen i got a couple of pictures the only bad thing was that one of the heater lines broke they use water to heat the apartment but it was a minor problem and we allready got that fixed . It was pretty funny sister dance called this morning to see how we were doing and we told her what happened and she just laughed and asked for pictures. It was pretty funny when we first got in the apartment we just laughed and then we took a video and some pictures. Everything is still going good here we didnt get to go icefishing today because it was to cold but we might be able to go in a couple more weeks. Thanks for all of the love and support. Dear Family,My first transfer is over and i get to stay here with Elder Southworth for six more weeks it will be fun i have a good feeling about this transfer. This week was a crazy week it was fun. I think im starting to get used to the cold a little more because its not that bad anymore and ive learned to layer up more also. Its exciting to here how things are going back home and its cool to here that Kenneth comes home this week thats pretty crazy. Its amazing to see how things go by so quick. These last couple of weeks went pretty quick i can see how the lord has already blessed me so much i love being out here and i learn something new everyday. If you guys get Taylors address let me know it would be cool to write him and see how he doing. My companion and I were wondering if you could send some more jerky the missionaries up here loved it, it was pretty funny it didn't last very long. I was also wondering if you could send up my sweat pants if you can if you cant dont worry about it. Well thanks for your letters its good to here how you guys are doing and that all is going well. Life is moving right along......

We have had a busy few months as we have married off Karie (to Jonny Keeley) and sent David on his mission. David is currently serving in Fairbanks, Alaska. He is enjoying his companion and is also excited about sharing the gospel with the people. He is cold, but adjusting.

Cassie and Mike's baby is due in about 4 weeks. We are excited to be grandparents. She is doing well and they have picked out the name Kamery for her.

Abbey and Marissa miss their siblings. It can get a little on the quiet side here. Sometimes they think mom and dad are kind of boring (imagine that!).
