November 10, 2008

Dear Family,My first transfer is over and i get to stay here with Elder Southworth for six more weeks it will be fun i have a good feeling about this transfer. This week was a crazy week it was fun. One of our zone leaders appendix burst so we've been going on splits to try and help them out hes recovering pretty quick so its good. I think im starting to get used to the cold a little more because its not that bad anymore and ive learned to layer up more also. Its exciting to here how things are going back home and its cool to here that Kenneth comes home this week thats pretty crazy. Its amazing to see how things go by so quick. These last couple of weeks went pretty quick i can see how the lord has already blessed me so much i love being out here and i learn something new everyday. If you guys get Taylors address let me know it would be cool to write him and see how he doing. My companion and I were wondering if you could send some more jerky the missionaries up here loved it, it was pretty funny it didn't last very long. I was also wondering if you could send up my sweat pants if you can if you cant dont worry about it. Well thanks for your letters its good to here how you guys are doing and that all is going well. I'm sorry to hear that Taylor had to come home thats stinks that he has to have surgery hopefully it goes well so he can get back out there does he have to go to the MTC for 9 more weeks when he goes back. Tell him good luck for me. Its starting to get colder its actually not that bad its kind of fun sometimes the other day the fur on my hat froze around my face it was pretty funny. Its crazy when we go out side the inside of your nose freezes and your nose hairs its weird. Its also good to hear that you guys are doing well even though some people hear make it sound like the worlds going down the drain. Its good to hear that grandpa and Karen and the hithcocks are coming for thanksgiving tell them hi for me and make sure abbey gets the Cd made for the boys I promised i would get that for them. This week was a good week we found a family that were now teaching and they seem really solid they didnt make it to church but we have another appointment and were praying to put her and her kids on date itll be good. Its also good to hear that Andrea had her baby thats pretty cool cassie wont be long to follow. Well have a fun thanksgiving Were going to some members homes so itll be fun. Life is moving right along......

We have had a busy few months as we have married off Karie (to Jonny Keeley) and sent David on his mission. David is currently serving in Fairbanks, Alaska. He is enjoying his companion and is also excited about sharing the gospel with the people. He is cold, but adjusting.

Cassie and Mike's baby is due in about 4 weeks. We are excited to be grandparents. She is doing well and they have picked out the name Kamery for her.

Abbey and Marissa miss their siblings. It can get a little on the quiet side here. Sometimes they think mom and dad are kind of boring (imagine that!).
